As the Research and Policy Analyst, you will play an essential role on the Civic Council team as we support transformative initiatives throughout the region and through the Heartland Civic Collaborative. Your commitment to community improvement and inclusive economic growth will help drive our research on public policy and critical economic development, education, housing, and public safety issues. In this role you will support the Director of Public Policy on local, state, and federal public affairs efforts, including the drafting of advisory white papers, testimony and policy memos, impact analysis of legislative and regulatory proposals, coordination of department operations and processes, and other special projects that advance the Civic Council's strategic efforts. The Program Manager is a member of the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City team and responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of KC Rising projects aimed at driving the inclusive economic prosperity and competitiveness of the Kansas City region. This role involves coordinating meetings, managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment with KC Rising’s strategic goals. The Program Manager will collaborate with regional leaders across various sectors to facilitate economic growth, innovation, and inclusion.
