A lifetime of impact.
Initiated by the Civic Council in 1978, KCT was designed to identify and cultivate future generations for civic engagement from the ranks of Kansas City’s up-and-coming business and community professionals.
Today, KCT has over a thousand alumni, some of which are Kansas City Tomorrow Alumni Association (KCTAA) members. Established July 27, 1989, KCTAA is a nonprofit organization that keeps graduates connected to KCT alumni and program opportunities.
KCT’s curriculum focuses on the region’s most pressing issues such as education, economic development, diversity and inclusion, and the KC Rising initiative. By interacting with Kansas City’s most influential civic leaders and industry experts, KCT participants gain insights into Civic Council priorities, along with a richer awareness of the importance of civic engagement.
